Vintage 1965-66 Ricky Straight Leg Doll Skippers Boyfriend Mattel 9.125\"H BarbieThis vintage boy doll appears to be Skipper\'s \"special friend\" Ricky from Mattel\'s 1965-1966 Barbie line and will make a great addition to your collection. It features brownish red molded hair, painted face details, straight legs and the 1963 Mattel copyright mark on it\'s \"bottom\". Two versions of the Ricky doll were released during the short time in which the style was produced—one version with a lighter tone skin and one with more of a tan, however I am not sure which version this doll is. PER COLORING, the arms are a lighter tone that matches the head more so than the torso and legs which are a slightly darker pinkish color...this was a very difficult item to photograph while maintaining accurate color tones and clear/crisp details...please let me know if you would like to see additional photos. It does have wear from age and being played with including missing paint on the hair and face, dents, stains, nicks, and more in addition to factory original blemishes such as one leg being shorter than the other so PLEASE read complete details below and review photos closely for condition. • Approximate weight is 2.9 ozs
• Measures approximately 1.25\" deep x 2.75\" wide x 9.125\" tall. PLEASE NOTE: The official height is supposed to be 9.25\" but this doll is a bit shorter at slightly over 9\" tall.
• Condition: In vintage pre-owned \"played with\" condition with wear including scratches, abrasions, dents, dings, nicks, cuts, discoloring, stains, dark areas, the arms are a different color than the torso/legs, visible seams, dirt, dust, grime, fingerprints, smudges, scuff marks, wear to the edges, paint voids on the molded hair, worn down surface details on the molded hair, wear to all of the painted details, gouge marks, wear to the raised surfaces/details, the right leg is shorter than the left leg, the index finger on the left hand is a bit pinkish in color while the rest of that hand/arm are not so I am guessing that both arms/hands are faded, miscellaneous dark/discolored areas, the joints have stiffened with age, bluish color tone on top of the feet, due to the shorter leg the doll will not stand up on it\'s own, rough edges, patina, gunk in the mold seams/details and overall wear from age and handling. • Materials: The head is made of a hollow molded rubber-like material, the arms and legs appear to be made of a solid molded plastic and the torso a molded plastic that is possibly hollow.
