VINTAGE 1970 Marshall SUPER LEAD 100 Watt TUBE Ampifier Amp Head Plexi like1968 For Sale

Selling my 1970 100w Marshall head. I have had this head for about 12 years. I bought the amp from a place in England called Amp Heaven thinking it was a 1968 plexi paneled amp. The sale is for the amp head only.The 4-12 cabinet pictured is not included. That was the way it was advertised. Anyway it is not from 1968 but it is from 1970. It was made to fool buyers that they were getting a 1968 plexi head with replaced front panel and the output transformer mounted on it\'s side like they did on the 1968. the transformers are original however to the amp. It also has an extra gain stage installed in the front end for master volume function which is well done .The tolex is worn off on the corners at places and piping has some damage from use over the last 44 years. It is a beast for sure and really roars. I just don\'t need this much volume anymore but will miss it dearly . The side has some type of band logo of some sort. it would be very interesting to find out what band, if it is a logo.The amp is from a smoke free home. The amp has not been recapped so it does have a little hum to it as to be expected on an amp made in 1970. free shipping within the lower 48 states only.
