Vintage 1971 Ringling Bros Barnum & Bailey Big Free Street Parade Circus Poster in very good condition.
This is a vintage, 1971 reproduction of the antique, 1913 Barnum and Bailey Circus advertising poster printed by Strobridge Litho Co.
\"The Barnum & Bailey big free street parade : is the most magnificent, largest, greatest processional spectacle ever seen given absolutely free at 10 o\'clock a.m. preceding the initial exhibition of the greatest show on earth.(Barnum & Bailey Circus)©1913\"
Poster has been rolled up so will have some creases but also still lies fairly flat when stretched out as is shown in photos. There are two significant paper tears = one at top/center and some chipping of lower/left corner. There is some discoloration from age but no major defects aside from what is mentioned above.
To commemorate their 100th anniversary, in 1971, Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey, produced reissues of some of their select and most famous authentic posters dating from 1883 to the 1930\'s. There were 30 different posters, and they were advertised as \"The only antique posters authorized by the greatest show on earth\". They were sold at traveling circus shows, and measured roughly 17\" x 24\". They were all identified by a number preceded by the letter \"P\". The numbers ranged from #103 thru #202.

I have 25 vintage B&B Circus posters in several different styles. My dad purchased these in 1970-71 and stored them until now.
