Here we have a 1976 Timex Viscount Automatic watch. It has the awesome computer digit numbers on the dial to give it a "modern" look for 1976. Original bracelet has been replaced by NOS stainless bracelet.
The watch functions flawlessly. The "quickset" function is one of the more interesting ones I've seen. Pull the crown out halfway - counterclockwise rotation sets day - clockwise rotation sets day and date. Day and date also change with the time and I would bet that if you were to roll the hands back when setting, only the day would change. But that's just a hunch.
Overall condition of the watch is very good. The case still has all its chrome but does have some general wear. The acrylic does have many scratches but none deep enough to effect visibility at all. Would the watch benefit from a new acrylic? Sure. Does it NEED one? I don't think so. That's why I never got around to changing it out.
