Hi folks, I’m not sure if the candy was stored or ice-cream in this or the ingredients for making one of them. I picked this up years ago from a guy who lived and worked on Long Island. Clearly marked on the outside Louis Sherry Inc. LI City. Its heavy weighing over 5 ½” pounds. The condition is with dents and scratches and some rust and no lid. It does not sit perfectly flat and rocks some. It’s about 9” tall and about 91/2” across the top and holds about 2 Gal.. My pictures are large because I not only want to tell you what you’re getting but also for you to see what you’re getting.
NOTE: Be very careful when buying antique hardware. I’m seeing more reproductions showing up at flea markets and sales then ever before. Remember, if it\'s too good to be true....
About half of what I sell on is antique hardware most of which I bought before was even someone’s dream. First I bought it for the Victorian home I had and then I just started buying it because I liked it.

After I receive your item back I will then refund all money! I will also refund return shipping up to $25.00 if you contact me by email and not open a case in the resolution center.
SHIPPING POLICY!
My shipping policy is all items will ship out within 24 hours of receiving payment. I ship within 24 hours Monday through Friday every time, if I don’t then you might want to send flowers. If your item is bought on a Saturday and I’m at work I will take it to the post office inside drop off box that day/night so they have it to process first thing Sunday or Monday. I don’t ship with newspaper and a prayer; I use quality materials and care. Newspaper is only used as filler but never as the main source of protection.
NOTE:
I don’t know if this came from a smoke free home or not. The fact is almost all antiques came out of a home that someone smoked in at one time.
