VINTAGE 50\'s PROM PARTY WEDDING CRINOLINE SWING DRESS Ethereal Sky Blue Chiffon :

For your consideration is this lovely very cute two tone blue chiffon dress! The dress has 2 light blue chiffon layers and the darker blue chiffon is double as well. Next is a stiff blue netting, then softer taffeta slip, and finally a gauze first layer. The first layer of chiffon is sewn into 8 scallops with 8 bows. There is a \"rose\" chiffon bow at the top in the back with the wide streamers that fall above the hem line. Two spaghetti straps on each side loop at the top of the shoulder and the bust has vertical boning for stability. There is a metal back zipper with a hook and eye closure. The photos do show the blues to be lighter except the one laying flat showing the scallops. This dress is clean and ready to wear or display with the exception of additional pressing if desired. Would look great with crinoline slip too! There is one small spot about 1/4\" that I tried to show in the last picture which is on the front far right side of the dress about halfway between the waist and hemline.It was there when I purchased the dress and I do not think it takes away from the presentation. This dress in very good to excellent vintage condition. It is part of my collection and I am needing to move some of my items!
