Up for offer is what I believe to be a Tapered Reamer for a Brace, possibly a Chairmaker\'s Tapered Reamer, or, a Tapered Chairmaker\'s Spoon Bit, depending on who you ask.. I have tried to identify this, but there has been a lot discussion over the correct name. Overall good user condition, no visible markings, surface rust, metal discoloration, and pitting on the steel, mostly at the back of the large diameter, and at the tip.Cutting edges are good , with a few minor nicks. Overall length is 9-3/4\", major diameter is 1\", and tapers to approx. 1/8\". This also has a notched square tang.
