This vintage paper cutter was originally sold by the Marshall Field & Company (founded in 1852). The sticker from the sale is still with it (pictured).
The metal \"blade\" is no longer sharp and is quite stiff in the swing. Additionally, the metal is covered in patina (pictured).
This piece is very old and being sold as a display piece. It\'s entirely possible to make it fully functional again with a little elbow grease, but it\'s being sold in as-is condition.
The board measures 14in x 14¼in and the metal cutter measures 18in long.
