Up for offer, an utterly charming piece of Americana, a cross-stitch sampler on linen in a beautiful old frame with wood back (looks like the original frame job). Very nice stitching. Very small amount of age spots on front toward the right side as shown in photo, this is not objectionable given the age of this piece. I estimate that it was likely made in the 1920\'s or 30\'s. This would be perfect hanging on your lake housecottage walls or country home. Size of sampler is approx. 10x13 with the frame being larger. Could use to be restretched, as the stitching is not really off kilter. Would make a great gift for someone, a housewarming or a hostess gift when you stay at someone\'s cottage.
