Up for sale is a vintage wool letterman cardigan sweater manufactured by Dehen Knitting Co. Garment is knitted orange wool with dark navy stripes and accents throughout. The front features two embroidered patches that together read \'47\' over one of the two inset pockets. Buttons are made of melamine.
Fabric shows hardly any wear and is free of any soiling. Cardigan was probably lightly worn and kept in storage all this time. The back of the sweater has one small moth hole. One of the buttons is missing. Buyer can probably replace it with the bottom button and in its place use a new button in a coordinating color. The original tags are in place and read \'All Wool 100% Worsted Dehen University Dehen Knitting Co. Portland, Oregon\' and \'Nelson Sport Store Boise, Idaho.\' I am almost positive that this cardigan in these colors represent the Boise State University and their team, the Broncos. Piece dates to the late 1940s.
