Bottom is stamped Ellgreave England. There is also an L carved into the bottom. The pattern number 117 is hand-painted in gold, as is the letter C.
I cannot find a date this pattern was made. Ellgreave was known for making beautiful ironstone tea ware, so I'm assuming this is ironstone although that isn't stamped anywhere.
