For your consideration is a Vintage G.C. Jenkins Co. Vibraphone. This is a 2 1/2 octave vibraphone. It measures about 33 1/2 inches tall, about 38 1/2 inches long, and about 27 inches at its widest part. It is approximately 70 years old. The bars have some minor corrosion. It needs some repairs such as the cable leading from the damper to the foot pedal. Also, the belt for the motor needs to be replaced. The price of this vibraphone takes into consideration the cost of repairing these items. I noticed that you can purchase the belts on at a minimal cost. This instrument was played in a dance band and on radio in Ohio and Florida. It was used from time to time as a side instrument when my father played the marimba on the radio, television, and dance band in Ohio. I also have a marimba listed on that my father played. This would be a good instrument for a student learning to play the vibraphone, xylophone, or marimba. This vibraphone is being sold \"as is\" so please ask any questions you may have.
