This Gates I\'m selling is Gates MO-2650 remote mic preamp.( see photos) It uses a 6F5 on the input ( grid wire on top like a 6J7/1620) into a 6C5 triode , driving a 6F6 single ended into a very large transformer.The gates has been completely gone through. All new electrolytic caps and PIO vintage coupling caps. (Sprague,Westcap, Vitamin Q ect.)
The unit was tested and checked with my Audio Precision Analyzer .
It is quiet and sound fantastic.
