Introducing a vintage Gillette slim adjustable safety razor, model J4 from 1964. This collectible item is made with nickel-plated brass and was manufactured in the United States.
The razor silo doors, top cap, guard bars, baseplate, and handle are in great condition. The butterfly doors open and close smoothly and the TTO knob has audible clicks from 1-9. The knurling and plating are excellent. The razor provides a smooth and efficient shave. I used setting #5 on with the grain passes and 3-4 on the other passes. On a good day I used #7.
