Vintage Hand Forged MORTISE/TURPENTINE Axe Marked 1879 is used in good condition, does have a minor chip on the edge, very interesting history on these type axes were used 100 years ago to cut into pine trees so the sap would run in a bucket to make Turpentine, also used as a carpenter's tool to make notches etc. in wood. Great collectors item.
