This stunning carpet has been handwoven in the village of Sarouk(Sarough)in the Markazi province of Iran.
The rugs of this village are heavy ones with a high pile and also high quality.Antique models of the Sarouk carpetare highly popular today thanks to their beautiful colour shades.
This densely patterned and detailed Persian rug features strong traditional designs of stylized plants and flowers. A field of reds is picked out with light blue, green, and dark blue in geometric flower and plant motifs. This carpet’s size and shape suits any room and adds a certain character and charm.
We have taken our own photos, and have tried to show any low pile, marks or shading, all of which are due to the age of the rug, but adds vintage charm & character. The age of this rug is 50+ years.The condition of this rug is great for its age, but please check the detailed photos before purchase. All of our rugs have been professionally cleaned.
