I have an older Heathkit TT-1 Tube Tester for sale. The case of the tester is in somewhat poor shape. Overall it\'s a desirable unit that would make a nice project.
Case is coming apart on the edge. Hinges are loose, please look at the closeup photo. I don\'t know much about testers, so I can\'t say if you can simply re-drill those hinge holes and re-fasten, or what. The material of the case is also pretty rough -- faded, dirty, etc.
Tester is untested. I wouldn\'t know where to begin. Panel is dusty and dirty, but the unit looks complete. It\'s somewhat loose from the case itself -- see photo how I lifted it up out of the case a bit. I don\'t know how it\'s supposed to attach or whether this is typical. I see it as an issue, could be due to the case not being so great. I\'m sure it would need to be gone through -- tested, caps replaced, calibrated, whatever it needs. It\'s a project -- don\'t expect it to work.
Has several manuals with it, I\'m sure others can be found online to print off.
It\'s really heavy. Sorry for high shipping -- not much I can do when the item itself weighs nearly 30 pounds..
