This blue paisley chintz pattern was a decal pattern used by many china companies including Wades, Radfords, Rosina, Shelley, Royal Mayfair, Royal Winton and the maker of this bowl, James Kent Ltd, Fenton. These were mainly English companies. This pattern was used from the 1930s through the 1960s. Please see pictures. I\'m not sure for what this bowl was used. I\'ve looked at many china company lines, but I cannot find this bowl. It may be a bone bowl or wash bowl. If anyone knows, please let me know. There are no chips or cracks.
