These are Lionel O/O27Standard gauge power lock-ons (depending on which way you trun the lockon) and were cleaned using a non-destructive (no acids or alkalines) process to remove rust ( iron oxide) by a process call chelation. I’m showing you three just so you can get a better understanding of the cosmetics. What looks like rust is actually steel where rust once was located.
