Vintage Lipper Mann Japan Ceramic Christmas Spaghetti Poodle Dog w NOEL Letters.This is one of the rarest and most hard to come by sets!! These are the amazing vintage NOEL spaghetti poodle dogs made by Lipper & Mann in the 1950s. These are the white poodle set. Poodles are absolutely delightful with their big blue/black eyes and long eyelashes, they have lots of spaghetti detailing that is accented with sponged gold. On front of each poodle is a letter to spell out NOEL and it is winter pine green with some white frost and red holly berries. Poodles have gold collars. All poodles are marked on the bottom with © L&M and all have their black Japan tags excepts for the O figurine. Poodles range in size from approx. 1 ¾” inches to 2 ¼” inches. Condition on this set is Excellent for their age with NO Chips, NO Cracks, and they have minimal wear, looks like nearly all their spaghetti is intact.A WORD...99% of what we sell is old...like 50+ years old. it has been used, loved, cherished, played with, stored in a basement or attic and nothing we sell is mint. items come from yard sale, sale, flea markets and antique shops. we try to describe all the things we see but sometimes what we see and what you see are 2 different things. we may see it as minor paint wear, you may see it as a big flaw and vice versa
