Stunningly gorgeous Mod era “Marlo Flip” twist & turn Barbie in her original swimsuit!
She comes to you with several condition issues as shown. Please see photos for close up and best representation of actual condition. This doll is in TLC condition as are her clothes. She’s clean and pretty and ready to join your collection either as is or with some love and repair!
Please note:
She is missing some eyelashes on her left eye as shown. They aren’t totally gone but are sparse.
Her left knee/leg is completely broken. The piece is loose at the joint and sort of floating about- but can be maneuvered into a reasonable place as displayed. There are some holes in vinyl of both legs as shown and her feet are positively devoured- but still whole, somehow. What restraint!
She has some pink/magenta marks here and there as shown, though she has been thoroughly (but gently) cleaned, these did not easily come off for me.
Her hair has been washed, conditioned and styled (somewhat!) but it is original and unaltered. It pops up in back as you can see, but is in really good shape to my eye for a doll of this era.
Her swimsuit is bright and lovely but unraveling all over as shown. Someone sewed it (loosely) with white thread long ago and I’ve left that as found. When I got her she was totally held together with safety pins in this thing and I was surprised it wasn’t worse than it is. It’s in need of repair or looks darling as is if you prefer to keep original (minus the errant white thread in back, of course). Tagged Barbie but tag is folded in on itself as shown.
