Up for sale is this Vintage OTAGIRI Bittersweet Stoneware 2 Qt Casserole Dish & 6 Tea/Sake Cups. This 8-piece set of the white stoneware dish with vented lid & 6 tea/sake cups are pitted & speckled with green/brown spots. The bittersweet pattern displays the tea berry & leaf design around the exterior of all pieces. The dish measures approx 5 1/2\"H with lid x 8 1/2\"Diam, & it weighs nearly 4 1/2 lbs alone. Each cup measures approx 2 1/2\"H x 2 3/4\"Diam. The OTAGIRI dish was designed to be used primarily for baking/steaming rice & vegetables. This dish/cup set was never used in cooking, only for display. The overall condition of this set is excellent with no visible damage/crackling/staining (see photos-dollar bill shown in photo is not included).
