There are many images so you need to scroll down to view them all of this very nice brass survey transit type instrument that I think is called a precision compass and it is in the original box. The dial is marked Queen & Co. Makers at the top with the logo where the N would be and then E W S and also Phila 5945. The dial is 4 5/8\". The needle is 4\" and the adjustment screw is on the top. Overall width is 11 3/4\". The sighting vanes are 5 3/4\" long. Also they have a place on the bottom of the box to lay. Also in the box is a wrench and a pin. There is no tripod with it. The box and the survey instrument itself has not been cleaned but I think they both would clean up very nicely. The box is missing the carrying strap. They are much better than the images as the compass is very shiny and hard to take image because of glare. The unpacked weight is 7 pounds. Buyer to pay s/h calculated insured in USA.
