True vintage 40\'s tv lamp. It works great as is. I have been using it for years. I went and found my dream lamp so I need to make room. No cracks or repairs in the shells. Works with a twist of the switch. Plug looks a little scary but all the wiring is good. It had a originally a cardboard insert on the plug. To me that\'s just kindling to a fire...lol.
