Vintage TOC Corbin Duplex Coaster Brake HUB 36h Skiptooth New Departure Bicycle For Sale

Vintage TOC \"Turn of the Century\" Early Corbin Duplex Coaster Brake Hub with 36 Spoke holes. This Corbin Duplex is the Corbin\'s version offered by Corbin after the Corbin built New Departure Coaster Brake. Basically same parts with some exterior differences. The Hub has been Restored, Re Nickeled, and Rebuilt, it\'s a Good one. The Restoration in not mine but I rebuilt it to know whats going on. The outside of the the hub is Beautiful, Nickel plated, has Pork Chop Cast Arm, the innards are pretty good for a hub of this age, a few worn parts but in working order, The Axle has slots ground in it, possibly for a concentric drop out, and the axle nuts are new 3/8 x 24. The Axle looks to be 3/8\" diameter or a micro bit smaller and is 6\" wide with about 4 3/8\" or 110mm hub width. They didn\'t use lock nuts back then so the addition of lock nuts could provide wider width ( Lock Nuts Not show and Not Included ). Spoke holes are around 2.3mm to 2.5mm wide and vary because of use and re-plating. The Sprocket is worn and was Re nickeled on the driver, so I couldn\'t remove the Sprocket from the driver, Not a big deal unless you were going to ride it daily, Still Good for a Restoration or a Collection. Lacing the hub is not an issue since the sprocket is so small. This is a Beautiful TOC early Corbin Coaster Brake Hub that would of been used on 28\" x 1 1/2\" wood wheel bicycles.
