Lovely dress that will make a gorgeous display in your cabinet. This dress is in and really nice vintage condition. The colors are still nice with very little fade. The panty is replaced but it’s a ‘50s one with replaced elastic and is a nice match. I think the panty was fabric matching the dress…it’s the same fabric Vogue used in some of the little nighty’s. We do see that panty come up on fairly often. So snag this dress while you can and add that later. It is shown with a straw or horse-hair hat with an old rose.
If its been washed, it was done well. Tried to show a very insignificant…not sure what to call it. Its not a hole, maybe a pull. Looks like maybe someone pinned the bow there to hold it straight. You’ll wanna put some clear fingernail polish on the hook because its just at the brink of rust. Tried to show both of these things, maybe you can tell. But really…for almost 70 years old, its in remarkable condition.
Your beautiful PE or early moving eye will be heavenly in this little darling.
