Upon Close Inspection Doll on Left in photo has one leg that is darker in back than in front. Seems that Vogue sometimes used different \"lots\" where the dye was slightly different in the plastic and when poured in the mold and then using another batch there can be a difference in the color. Also one very tiny tiny separation on one side just below the ear; it is so tiny a piece of paper can\'t fit thru it. We need to mention these things although most would not probably notice as these are being sold \"as is, final sale\".

We are offering another group of dolls to dress. There are two (2) painted hard plastic strung Vogue Ginny dolls from 1949/50. They both have been restrung. All fingers accounted for, no cracks, chips or repairs. They both retain their full mohair factory wigs which need to be restyled by the more talented. These are factory original and not replacements. Both have the more pale coloring typical of some of the early painted dolls. These 8\" strung early Ginnys are marked on their backs Vogue Doll. On the snowy or rainy days these would make a nice quick project to bring them back to life and shine. They need a nice outfit and will display nicely. Please view all the photos for a close look. The lines on faces are stray hairs, typical of this type of wig.One of the two sometimes has a temperamental head thatwants to go to one side or the other soyou might want to restring her. We are selling them \"as is, as found, no returns\" so please ask questions if you have any concerns. There are many talented people out there that have the skills to restyle hair and bring it back to almost the factory original style. If you have the patience and talent these might be something you would enjoy. Two sweet dolls looking for a new home.
