Charming set of early Dora Kuhn dollhouse furniture, constructed of wood and hand painted.
Scale seems to be inbetween 1:12 and 1:6. See photos of 1:12 Shackman doll and 1:6 Barbie to help gauge size. Dollhouse furniture scale in these early days was not always exactly calibrated. I have read that Dora Kuhn furniture is considered to be 1:10 scale, but there is little else in this size range with which to compare it.
Set includes a cupboard with doors that open to reveal shelves inside; a rocking baby cradle; and a kitchen table. All are painted in the same soft green color with many decorative flourishes and floral detailing.
There is paint and age wear on all pieces; please view photographs, and do not hesitate to request additional shots if desired.
One note: there is a pencil notation or signature under the cupboard, including the letter A -- perhaps a reference to Anna, the daughter of the original Kuhn craftsman, for whom this furniture was originally designed?
