• It is loaded with cultural andhistorical information, including insets of London andStratford-Upon-Avon and a chart of Shakespeare\'s histories.
• It was prepared by the Art Department of the National GeographicSociety, noted for its highly detailed and attractive cartography, andit locates settings of various plays — plus abbeys, churches, castles,battlefields, forests, and heaths in England, Scotland, and Wales.
• Thewater areas surrounding the land are embellished with vignettes ofsailing ships, spouting sea monsters, and other figures.
• Condition: It is in very good, previously owned condition,brightand clean, with tiny pinholes in the upper corners and norips, tears, or writing. It is blank on the back, with no printing on thereverse side.
• The map was lithographed by A. Hoen & Company and issued as asupplement to the May 1964 National Geographic Magazine.
