This tropical clumping bamboo is one of the fastest growing clumping types of bamboo! It sends up more new shoots each year than other types- all while being very easy to control and maintain!! It is a noninvasive variety and does not get out of hand like other types of bamboos!
These mature, lively, eager to grow bamboos are EXPLODING with growth! These plants come from our most well established grove, which is over 14 years old. These plants are very productive, and have a massive root ball. They will quickly establish themselves and rapidly begin multiplying! Each rhizome has a trimmed culm, which is important because it allows all of the energy to be transferred to the roots once planted. The rapidly growing- and extremely thirsty- new shoots need a solid root base when they emerge during shooting season! Each rhizome has several new buds, which is a sign of its health and desire to begin multiplying! Many buyers have reported new shoots emerging from their transplanted Seabreeze bamboos!
