Fantastic silver plated Christofle ice / champagne bucket which bears the monogram:
"RAR" for the Reichsautobahn Raststatte.
Piece has the Christofle mark which was in use from 1935. I have seen this design advertised as the work of Luc Lanel but I was unable to find any definitive information about the design. It is the same era and similar art deco style but no markings other than the makers mark shown.
Piece is in excellent condition showing very little wear. There are a few slight nicks and scratches but overall excellent.
Piece will need to be thoroughly polished when buyer receives it.
Take a good look at the photos as piece is being sold as -is.
