Greetings, radioenthusiasts! Up for sale a nice clean example of a 60s-vintage wooden tubetable radio, Admiral Model YG-511. The cabinet on this attractive unit is madeof heavy plywood with a maple veneer. Inside the cabinet, the radio features asturdy 6-tube hand-wired chassis, a silicon diode rectifier, all capacitivefront end tuning, and a 4\" speaker. The rotary selector switch enables FM reception with or without AFC. The AM(525-1605 KHz) uses an extra long internal ferrite loopstick antenna, while theFM (88-108 MHz) uses the either the AC cord, or an external dipole antenna, which can be connected with two screw terminals on the radio\'s back.
