World War II US Army Officer\'s green wool \"Ike\" Jacket. Made or sold by Saco Uniforms in Philadelphia (a popular clothier during WW2). The QM label is almost gone, so we do not know the date of manufacture or the size, but estimate it to be about size 34/36. The jacket has a four button placket, two single button flap pockets, a waist belt with a single button and two snaps, two adjusting pull tabs at the sides, sateen lining, inside pockets on both sides. Front buttons are held on by split rings and corresponding button holes are stitched in brown. The collar is wool lined.
The insignia appear to have been added later and include a 6th Armored cavalry shoulder patch and 2 enameled 6th Cav. shoulder pins, 2 brass \"US\" lapel pins, 2 Cavalry branch brass lapel pins, 3rd Army shoulder patch, Meritorious Unit ribbon, service stripes.Measurements are:
