This is a good one!1 of Only 1000 Made ULTRA Rare 1879 Elgin Grade 47 Convertible Pocket WatchRuns healthy and strong!Not tested for long term accuracy.You read that right! There was only one production run for this watchWith only 1,000 being produced.Produced 1879, this is the earliest stem wind watch I have seen!Was probably a fancy thing to show off to your mates in the day.Forums call it a \'Convertible\' movement.Came in 7 jeweled and 13 jeweled varieties and 14s and 16s sizes.This is a 16s and looks like the 13 jeweled version.Like new! See photos for condition.This watch is 145 years old and looks mint!Crystal has scratches or cracks.Dial is in pristine condition!Amazingly embossed case has no scratches or dents and the gold fill is completely intact!You don\'t throw the word \'unique\' around lightly in the watch community,but this one certainly is that!
