Here\'s an excellent US M1 helmet from World War 2. Both the shell and the liner have a major\'s insignia on the front. The shell has a dent on the right rear and has the rim seam on the front. Strap is all there, but the metal buckle could use a cleaning. The liner is in excellent condition with webbing, leather band, and chin strap and is marked underneath with a \"45.\" The shell and liner fit and hold together very well.
