Here is a rare, poignant, World War I US Army and Navy Prayer Book prepared by the National Baptist Convention. It has targeted prayers and devotionals for the final 3 months of 1918 (ironically the end of the War). The On the March with the Master Prayer book is a stirring combination of religion and patriotism. It is 98 years old and in fair to good condition.

Religious organizations reached out to Soldiers, Sailors and Marines throughout World War I. This particular soft cover book, On the March with the Master, was overseen by the National Baptist Convention. It is geared towards prayers, lessons, devotions, messaging and songs for the last 3 months of 1918. A 3 month calendar is at the end. Included are the Orders of the Day from Presidents Washington and Wilson.

The covers are nicely intact. They show normal, light wear. The pages are clean but have darkened a bit from the passage of a century. All information is legible. There are 64 pages. It is as much an instructional, lesson teaching book as well as prayers for spiritual comfort while in harm\'s way. The book measures 3.375 by 4.75 inches.
