WWII era US Navy Mk. 2 \"Talker\" Helmet, Sea Blue Paint W/Period Repaint, Texture For Sale

Really amazing WWII era US Navy Mark 2 \"Talker\" Helmet. These were used by anti aircraft gunners in the navy and some Marine units. They are sized so the gunner could wear headphones. Reportedly these were the model for some of the helmets worn in Star Wars. This helmet is in very nice condition with some rust spot and wear on the inside liner and metal. The original suspension used was the structured foam. The chin straps are missing. It seems to be a medium size and does not fit my 7 3/8 head. I could not find any markings or sizing. Thepictures show the lot the winning buyer will receive, so judge the condition and quality for yourself. The patches, medals, ribbons, and uniforms we are selling come from our family collections.
