WW2 US Army I\'D Master Sgt Expert Uniform Tunic World War II U.S. Army 147th Infantry named Master Sergeant uniform tunic. This came directly out of an old estate about 5 years ago. The jacket is dated 1936 and is a very nice one with all removable buttons. The original owner’s name is inside the back of the collar area and is also inscribed on the reverse of 2 of the medals. Included on the jacket are 147th Infantry crest badges with screw backs, Guadalcanal shoulder patch, sterling Combat Infantry Badge, several ribbon bars including Asiatic-Pacific with 3 battle stars, American Campaign, Good Conduct, American Defense and one I am unfamiliar with. There is an additional American Campaign bar that may be a later addition but this is how I received it? Other awards include Expert Rifleman, Rifle, Bayonet, Pistol, Auto-Rifle, Small Bore Rifle and Hand Grenade expert bars. There are 2 Expert Rifle medals which were awarded in 1939 and 1940, each is inscribed on the reverse. I am unsure of the aiguillettes or shoulder cord colors. Maybe green and a peach color or faded red? Overall the jacket is in excellent condition and has been very well taken care of.
There is no size marked but a few measurements are;
shoulder to shoulder - 16 1/2”
shoulder to cuff - 23 3/4”
