This sale is for an EXTREMELY SCARCE 1st Pattern Model WWII US Navy Hooded Deck Jacket Coat Overcoat Foul Weather E7 CTM Chief Torpedoman\'s Mate Submariner\'s Foul Weather Uniform with Alpaca Fur Lining RARE! These did not survive and are highly sought after Navy Uniform items! The E7 CTM stencil on the back indicates that this belonged to a Chief Torpedoman\'s Mate either on a ship armed with Torpedoes or a Submarine. This was discovered wrapped in plastic in an attic probably belonging to the veteran that owned this. A torpedoman\'s mate\'s training focuses on organizational and intermediate level maitanance on underwater ordanance handling torpedoes and anti-submarine rockets and preparing underwater ordanance for launching, conduct post-fire and post-run routines and weapons performance evaluation procedures. Some stains and discoloration, and the material, which is a canvas, is very stiff and paper-like.
