Solid example of a mid-war swivel bale US M1 helmet. Stainless steel rim with front seam. Color is green on the shell and green on the liner. No serious dents or rust. The shell has been restored on the out side. Look carefully at pictures . chinstraps.I pick this helmet up from a reenactor. Would be a great one to restore for reenacting.Liner has in khaki webbing, It has been pulled out of the front A-washer. Maker is Firestone tires &rubber Manufacturing company . Crown stamp has a “F in a Shield ” under the logo is “A 20.” The A-washers are all present and secure. Nape strap. There is a rank on the front of the liner.The pictures tell the rest.
