Very unusual Stromberg-Carlson space saving phone. I believe they were made in the 1940's but it could be earlier as I am not an expert.
This is a heavy piece, weighing 6 lbs. This has the bracket attached to the phone that would be used for attaching the phone to a counter.
No cracks or chips to the bakelite on this phone. Inside the hand- held receiver are the words Stromberg-Carlson. There also is a plate stating "Stomberg-Carlson to the bottom of the black metal box. See pictures.
This piece is 12 inches long including the counter bracket.
The dial is 3 1/4 inches in diameter. The rotary dial moves freely. The center paper piece in the dial states -Dial X
To the bottom of the black metal box are the numbers 100970
This piece appears to have the original wiring which will need to be replaced. These types of phones are getting harder to find!
