Item as described, works great! I Use for controlling heating Mat temperature and it works great. Easy to setup and accurate as long as you got the sensor in the area where you want the temperature the most precise. Has a 2 degree temperature range before it kicks back on. So it goes down two degrees from your set temperature and then it kicks back on and stays on until it hits that set temp. Works great! Fast to ship out. Will shop again if I need another.

Item as described A+A+A+ This is a quality item. Only works as a shutoff for heat. as a turn on for a cooling fan you need to purchase a separate unit. or a dual function

This is exactly what I needed.

The quality appears to be good enough. It will work with any heating pad but you need to decide how to set up the temperature probe. I wanted the floor of the tank to be around 90 degrees for my leopard geckos so I placed the temp sensor on the heating pad under the tank. When the pad reaches 90 degrees the power is shut off by the thermostat and when it drops 2 degrees below 90 it kicks back on. It keeps the floor where the geckos hide around 85-89 degrees. If you stick the probe to the inside of the tank it will be measuring air temp and will not kick off the heating mat until the over all temp reaches 90 inside the tank but that will cause the mat to reach temps of 100 plus degrees using a medium size mat for a 10-20 gallon tank and that’s just too hot from what I’ve learned. Don’t ...

  • Great if youre not wanting to waste electricity all day if its not needed.

I use mine with a heat lamp and I have it set at 55 degrees, it is for my dogs to be a little warmer on those cool evenings. Although I bring them in every night they are able to get the chill out of their bones if needed. it is also great to control heat lamps on our outdoor water spigots in the middle of the yard. Turns off when you don't need it and turns on when you do need it. Who could ask for more? I love it!

  • This Thermostat has Class.

This Thermostat gives a lot and yet retains a simple, common sense design. The set temperature is easily displayed with a simple press of the set button. The actual temperature of the controlled medium is continuously displayed. A led tells you when it is heating for your information to tell you that it is working. A very good design. The 120VAC cord is a bit stiff and that is the only negative comment in that the stiff cord makes the thermostat hard to stay put in your favorite display position.

  • Well made and works great

I am using this to control a small heater in the basement of the my RV to keep the pipes from freezing. The unit appears to be very well made and the power cord is heavy duty (much thicker than my heater cord). It has a remote sensor with a suction cup so you can decide where to monitor the temperature. I set it for 48F and this morning our temp was 30, but my basement was a nice 47.5 degrees.
