As an agricultural and construction mechanic, I've pumped my share of grease. Many times trying to get the coupling to stay on or, more often trying to yank it off. This coupling solves both those problems and, it does not leak. There is another popular coupling that uses a lever to unlock it. I had problems with it because sometimes I need to fish the hose thru to get to a zerk fitting and the lever would get hung up preventing me from greasing. This coupling easily gets to any grease point and just pushes on and locks, push in and slide the sheath back to release. My only concern with it is I wish the flange on the back was a larger diameter. With greasy hands, it's sometimes difficult to pull back without slipping off.

Looks well built and more compact than competitors but only works in pristine conditions. Does not fit on the 90° zerks I have that are band new. And only seems to get grease into fittings that don't have any resistance. If resistance is encountered, the grease just squirts out the front of the connector and makes a mess. maybe a backup unit for difficult to reach locations, but not real useful compared to even standard tips; which are a pain to use but work in way more situations than this. Will be leaving this at the shop where more than one grease gun is handy.

I have had over 3 of these couplers for maintaining our farm and equipment with over 2000 acres which adds up to a decent amount of use each spring and fall. Add up the cost of 3 of these couplers and youre over $100 just in these 3 ends. I have had two 12v Milwaukee guns and one Lincoln Power Luber. Out of all 3 of the couplers I only have one left that is still use-able and doesnt lock on half the time anymore. The other two have literally spit the ball bearings out that the outside coupler slides up and down on and have caused a headache in the field when they went bad as the bearing got pushed in between the zerk it was on and the end of the coupler causing a massive amount of pressure build up on the guns they were on and had to dis assemble the hoses on both of them to relieve pressure and change couplers. If these issues were to be fixed and/or warranted out for some type of exchange for a replacement I would keep using them but as they are made right now I dont see it cost effective to continue to buy them with how expensive they are compared to how much use I get out of one before it grenades. I wanted to like this coupler and it does great in the beginning but after real use of 6 months or more they dont hold up. Leaves a lot to be desired as my title of this review states... 🖓Read full review

No cons, just pros! This thing is great and worth every penny even if your just greasing off & on! It works like a charm and frees up your hands to pump-hold the gun, stays in place and doesn't leak a dab of grease, clean and easy. Good Stuff!!

I use this coupler to reach recessed zerks. I added a drilled out zerk to it to allow easy grease flow through it and connect it to the quick coupler already on my gun. Saves having to change couplers by allowing the smaller diameter coupler to quick connect directly to the existing quick coupler already on the gun.
