I have an A style Kentucky that I love... but I'm ready for something a little better and was not prepared to spend $1300. The more I play this, the more I love it. I had to move the bridge a little to get it to tune perfectly... but once I made that minor adjustment it really became a pleasure to play. It was double boxed. The case is strong and very nice to look at. I doubt I will upgrade beyond this unless I become a rich and famous mandolinist first. PS: The finish is beautiful for a 'manufactured' as opposed to hand made mando.

I love this mandolin. I bought it used & had fourteen days to return it if not satisfied. Took it to a local luthier to evaluate it & he offered to buy it if I didn't want it. He said the sound was far superior to mandolins retailing for more than the MSRP of this instrument. He also was very impressed with the natural volume it produced. And I really like the distressed look.

I expected a lot from this mandolin with all I have heard about it. I was pleasantly surprised when it exceeded what I expected. Smooth playing great neck, great chop, loud as it should be. Antique finish is unique and very attractive. I would buy another one if I were to ever loose this one.
