After browse some reviews (found positive and negative ones), I decided to try it on my 3 ton AC system, that was loosing refrigerant and reducing the performance drastically in a couple of weeks. The leak was suspected to be on the evaporator coil, which is still the original part of the AC since the construction of the house, around 15 years old, and cannot find any leak in the rest of the system after check with soapy water. I also applied a "Easy Dry" can of the same brand, that supposedly remove any moisture that could enter the system due to the leak, as recommended by manufacturer and prior to use Easy Seal. The refrigerant was then properly adjusted and after a month my AC is performing really good. The cost of replacing the evaporator assembly could be around $2000, maybe more, maybe less, but for sure I saved a lot with this sealant, including my electricity bill. It says that the sealant makes a permanent fix, which I don't really know, and I hope it does... but if not, if my AC survives the summer season then the investment on this product will be paid off for sure.Read full review

Could not get anyone to try to find the leak on my AC system. They said it was to old to mess with and I would just have to replace the whole thing. About $4800. Had a licensed friend put the leak sealer in 2 months ago. Unit has been working great every since. Before it would start to ice up after a month. Unit is ice cold with 21 differential from what is going into the unit and coming out on a 96 degree day. My buddy was very skeptical and said it could ruin the compressor. Good so far

Had a leak for a couple of years somewhere in the system. Had a professional check for leaks as did I. Couldn't be found. Used this product at the beginning of summer and had the system refilled at considerable expense and kept my fingers crossed. So far so good. No leak so far. Many of these products don't work, especially the cheaper ones. This one really worked. Well worth the price.

I just but it in. After one week it seems to be working. I hope that it fixed the leak, that would make it one of the best product I ever purchased. Time will tell. Jim

Had a small leak in the evaporator that is located up in the attic air handler. Tried to find the leak but was unable to due to the installation. Read many reviews about this product and decided to give it a try. I decided to wait awhile before topping off the charge. It has been a week so far and the remaining charge seems to be holding fine. I keep checking the discharge vs return temperature and it is the same as the first day. I am confident that the leak has stopped. I will top off the charge tomorrow. So far so good.
