Best way to remove tarnish from flatware
I have used this silver dip for many years. It is very effective and the ease of use saves time compared with polishing with silver paste - although serving trays will still need to be polished with the paste. Dipping also prevents excessive wear on your silver plate. The basket insert holds quite a few pieces of flatware but a few longer items will need to be reversed. Wide serving spoons won’t fit so I just pour the dip into any wide mouth jar that will accommodate these items. Normal tarnish takes only a brief dip. Pieces that are heavily tarnished will need a longer time. Rinse under running water & dry. I have used this silver dip for many years. Hagerty's Silver Dip liquid has aways been my favorite product for silver cleaning - immediate and perfect results with no mess - also - by using a bowl to catch the used liquid , it can be used many times.
