This one replaced one I used for three years in an industrial environment 8 hours a day 5 days a week or more until it disappeared. Light weight is relative, but the switch never was faulty, the light always bright (until the battery goes flat). Charges quickly with the correct charger. DO not believe it is explosion proof.

Not at all what I would believe it should be for the price. I don't need different settings on a flashlight or one that's difficult to use. I also do think it's near bright enough for this kind of money. Go with mag-light for the money. I'm sorry but I think $100 for a flashlight is a lot of money and you can buy much better for same $100. Streamlight should think about this a bit imo.

As a professional mechanic I’ve been using the stream light flashlight for the last 15 years. I lost my flashlight a bit ago, and I’ve been missing it ever cents. Yes they’re a little pricey but if you want a good solid flashlight , the stream light is hands down one of the best!The one drawback is it arrived as just the flash light! No charger or back up battery. I guess I should of read the small print. I’m just use to buying the hole package of the snap on truck!
