This unit has all the features of Central Air Conditioning...without the duct work and such. It fits right into most double or triple pane window sashes in about 15 minutes. Complete instructions allow you to easily install this unit and have it cooling in no time. Very quiet for a window unit; these units typically last several years. We first bought Frigidaire units in 2001...and finally had to replace them this past year. Has a remote to allow thermometer control from it; or from the room temperature readings...in the front of the unit.

I already have this model and was so impressed I bought another to replace an older different brand air conditioner.for another room.

I like the insulation on either side of the unit in the window. However, I don't like the following features: 1) The display on the unit displays only the temperature you set the unit to; not the room temperature like the last unit I had. 2) The remote shows the room temperature, but it is not back lit, so you can't read it in the dark(like when you are in the bed at night). Also, when the unit was delivered(in record time I might add), the frame was bent but not as to affect the operation, and the fins on the back were pushed in and were laying down on about 20% of the surface. Other than that, it's all good. I have photos, but I don't know how to up load them.

Nice design and good feature - clean air ozone. The only issue is it always has a very distinctive high pitch sound in the background during my testing, maybe it will go away in the future. (I bought this unit for future use. )

No issues the air conditioner cools my room down fast. I like the clean air feature it helps my cat breath better she hasn't sneezed as she was doing before I bought it. She used to have sneeze attacks. I did a research on air conditioners they rated this air conditioner number one. The price was the cheapest I could find it. $10.00 less then what Frigidaire sells it for and $300.00 less then what Walmart sells it for. It was a almost $40.00 more the what the 6,000 BTU sells for. So far is running like it should.
