The item is as advertised, and the price at the time of purchase was so exceptional that I bought 2. My herb plants sprouted very quickly and are growing exceptionally fast. Don't forget to top up the water as your plants grow, because they drink at a much more rapid pace the larger they grow. The aerator is so quiet that it's essentially imperceptible without actually looking.

    Even distribution of warmth!

    I really like that the Inkbird seedling mat has an even distribution of warmth. Worked very well and had found other purposes as well. Right now I use it under the floor of my insulated Quail house to keep them from getting cold during winter months. This would be a great item to place under a cat or dog bed to keep them cozy as well. Probably suitable under a terrarium or aquarium too.

    Keeps plants from freezing

    Instructions are a little hard to understand but after working with it a few times and looking up abbreviations it seems to work great. I use it to maintain a 37degree temp on my succulent plants during the winter months. for the last 5 nights it has worked perfectly.

    I bought it for a greenhouse. It works great for that but a simpler model would of worked fine.
