First Columbia release in 1969. Beautiful remastered with bonus tracks not previously released. A booklet that includes orginal album liner notes plus pictures taken during the recording session and not seen on the orginal album is also included. But the music says it all. "I wanted to put out the best blues record as I could" to quote Johnny. And he did. From the opening cords of I'm Yours and I'm Hers to the classic Be Careful with a Fool, to his original tune Dallas, to Good Morning Little School Girl, and the oh so soulful I'll Drown In My Own Tears, you know you have heard greatness. Because Johnny Winter is Greatness. The best blues guitarist ever. It's my personal opinion of course but get this CD and you will see where Stevie Ray and other blues guitarist got their inspiration. It's all here in this CD. A classic!!! A must have for every Johnny Winter fan. I loved this album in 1969 and love it today. It sounds fresh and exciting so great!!! Featured on this album is Johnny's brother Edgar on piano and sax, bandmembers Uncle John Turner on drums, Tommy Shannon (who later played with Stevie Ray) on bass. Plus guest artist Willie Dixon and Walter Horton. If your a blues fan and you have never heard this CD I beg you to get it and listen, it will blow you away it's that good.Read full review
